Car body polishing is a professional process designed to restore the clarity, depth, and gloss of your vehicle’s paintwork. Over time, the surface accumulates swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, and other imperfections that reduce its visual appeal.
At Brooklands, polishing is performed as paint correction — a multi-stage process that carefully removes defects from the clear coat, restoring a smooth, reflective surface and bringing back the original finish.
Unlike quick polishing, this approach delivers a long-lasting result, enhancing both the appearance and overall condition of the paint.
For maximum durability, polishing can be followed by protective solutions such as ceramic coating or paint protection film (PPF), preserving the restored finish and protecting it from further damage.

Preliminary Inspection & Paint Assessment
We begin with a detailed inspection of the paintwork to identify scratches, swirl marks, and deeper defects, determining the required level of correction.

Deep Exterior Cleaning & Decontamination
The vehicle undergoes thorough washing, removal of bitumen and iron particles, followed by clay bar treatment to prepare the surface for polishing.

Panel Protection
All sensitive areas are protected, and the surface is properly prepared to ensure safe and precise polishing.

Heavy Cut Polishing
Deep scratches and significant paint defects are carefully corrected using abrasive compounds, with each area treated individually.

Multi-Stage Polishing
A refining stage that removes smaller scratches, swirl marks, and imperfections, improving overall surface clarity. Final polishing stage to enhance gloss.

Vehicle Handover & Care Instructions
The paintwork is restored to a clean, smooth, and high-gloss condition. We also recommend further protection with PPF or Ceramic Coating.
