How long does paint protection film last?
The durability of the film depends a lot on the type of film used.
High-quality paint protection film typically lasts 5 years and more, but in Dubai climate any film tends to become yellowish with time. Vinyl wrap, as it's thinner, usually lasts 3–5 years depending on maintenance, and driving conditions.
In Brooklands we provide 5 years Warranty for the Film and 1 year Warranty for the installation work.

Does wrapping protect from scratches and stone chips?
Yes, Paint Protection Film protects from scratches and stone chips, more over, most of the modern wraps are self-healing. Which means, that not only the car paint will stay undamaged, but even the small scratches caused by daily abrasions will be less visible, what will keep the shine of the car for as long as possible
Important to mention, that Color Change Vinyl Film doesn't protect from scratches and stone chips, because it's very thin. In Brooklands in cases with Vinyl Film we apply PPF on top as a second layer or use colored PPF for color change.

How long does car film installation take?
Full vehicle wrapping may take 3–7 days depending on complexity, design, and whether printing or textured films are involved.
PPF Installation — 3-5 days
Color Change or Matte PPF — 5-7 days
Any Interior Wrapping — Few hours/1 day
Design projects require additional preparation time and may take up to 1 month.

Is wrapping cheaper than repainting?
In most cases — yes, it is. Wrapping is typically more cost-effective than a high-quality repaint and has the added benefit of being reversible.

Can I wash my car after wrapping?
Right after PPF installation we don't recommend to wash the car by yourself.
In Brooklands after the film installation and car handover we make an additional booking for a free professional Detailing Car Wash in 7-10 days. When you bring us the car for the second time, we inspect the vehicle, provide correction and professional car wash.
After that you can safely use any wash, though we recommend to use professional car wash to make your film last.

Color Change Vinyl Wrap provides the widest range of customization options. With over 300+ colors and 30+ textures available — including glossy, matte, satin, and carbon fiber — it allows complete visual transformation of your vehicle.
Vinyl film is highly flexible, enabling precise application on complex shapes and curves, resulting in a clean, seamless finish. It is the preferred solution when the goal is purely aesthetic, as it delivers the best visual result in terms of color depth and variety.
Colored Paint Protection Film (PPF) combines visual transformation with protective functionality. It is significantly thicker than vinyl and provides protection against chips, scratches, and daily wear, while also allowing you to change the appearance of the vehicle.
In addition to a wide range of colors, colored PPF can include textured finishes such as carbon fiber. At Brooklands, it is often combined with vinyl wrapping to ensure precise and seamless coverage of complex areas such as door jambs and curved elements.
Unlike vinyl, colored PPF offers a higher level of durability and protection, making it suitable for clients who want both a refreshed look and long-term preservation of the paintwork.
The cost of wrapping depends significantly on the selected film. Vinyl wrap is generally more cost-effective, while colored PPF is a more premium solution due to its thickness, protective properties, and installation complexity.
